The Bureau of Jewish Education was founded on the idea that community education worked better than various segments of the community working separately. To that end, the Bureau has expanded educational opportunities beyond the Hebrew School to serve all areas of the Greater Indianapolis Jewish community. Our adult education classes teach the sacred language of our people as well as topics common to all denominations of Judaism. Our family programs help educate parents at the same time as their children in Jewish life and culture, building strong foundations for future learning. BJE teen programs engage students at a time when they have many options for extra-curricular activities.
