Hebrew School Enrollment Overview

First Day of Class: Sunday, August 19, 2012

The BJE Hebrew School teaches students the importance of our people’s past through the study of Hebrew.  At the same time, our students learn the skills they need to assume the role of responsible adults.  The basic Hebrew School curriculum is a four (4) year program that consists of reading, writing and comprehension of Hebrew and the study of Siddur prayer. Students generally begin attending Hebrew School when they enter their third grade of public or private school, or are 8-years-old.  Jewish holidays and customs are integrated into Hebrew studies. We also offer tutoring in conjunction with local synagogues to prepare children to become B’nai Mitzvah.  Hebrew High School allows students to continue to learn and to grow.

Registrations received after August 10, 2012 will be assessed an additional $50 fee.
