Kroot Internship Available at BJE
Miles Roger

The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis will offer the Samuel Kroot Internship for current college students.  Samuel Kroot, Past President of the Jewish Federation from 1956–1958, was a successful businessman who cared deeply about our Jewish community.  In his honor, this program provides an opportunity for college students to work in one of the Jewish Federation agencies and learn about the structure and social services that the Federation provides in the Indianapolis community.  The goal of this internship is to give students experience in Jewish Communal Service in the hopes that they will pursue a career in the Jewish community.

One of the opportunities for the Kroot Internship this year is with the Bureau of Jewish Education.  The intern will be given the opportunity to assist with coordinating BJE special programs, historical research for the BJE Centennial, and other tasks.  The BJE is looking for students interested in Jewish Education and/or history that have completed at least two semesters of college; no specific major is preferred.

If you would like more information about the Kroot Internship with the Bureau of Jewish Education, please contact Miles Roger at 317.255.3124 or via e-mail.  To get more information about other Kroot Internship opportunities, please contact June Herman at 317.715.9261 or via e-mail.
